Welcome to the Nature Therapy Conference 2026

Join us at our third Conference dedicated to building a community of high-quality nature-based therapists, counsellors, facilitators and wellness practitioners.

When

8th - 11th May 2026

Where

Gladstone Scout Centre, Hawarden nr Chester

Who is it for

People working with Nature with a focus on Mental health, or people currently studying to work in nature with a focus on mental health. our previous event has been attended by counselling professionals, therapeutic practitioners, Nature-based facilitators, and Psychotherapists.

It started with a circle of five, now we are growing a tribe.

Like many things the Nature Therapy Conference was born from a small group of people with an idea and an ideal. A group of Wilderness Therapeutic Practitioners who wanted to share their skills, share their stories and build a community. As the numbers grew we outgrew our small campsite and wanted to offer a space around the fire circle for Therapists, practitioners and anyone else who works therapeutically in the outdoors come and join us on the journey.

Let's Build a Tribe

This is our first ever conference, and it can't happen without you. If you are still on the fence about joining us, here are some questions that we have been asked already.

Click any of the ‘get ticket’ buttons on the site and it will take you to our booking system which is powered by Bookwhen.

You will be taken from this super shiny website but don’t worry you are in the right place

Not at all, camping is included in the ticket price but you don’t have to stay over, if you prefer the comfort of your big feather bed at home then, why not join us for the selection of speekers, workshops and panels. Then commute home (you are welcome t o stay for the evening entertainment too.  )

We will provide you with a  Basic continental breakfast in the morning followed by a continued stream of hot brews throughout the conference.

Food for lunch and dinner are self catering , however we will set up fire pits around the site as well as the main fire circle for you to use for cooking.

There is a supermarket and farm shop  only 5 mins away, if you need to buy food

this year we will be offering a catered evening meal option too

YES!!  We searched far and wide for a location that has good transport links .
Hawarden is a short distance away from Chester train station with direct trains from London Euston, Liverpool, Manchester , Birmingham, Crew and Cardiff , Glasgow and Edinburgh

Better still the Number 4 or 4x  bus leaves every 20 mins and will take you from the train station  to the venue gates! How’s that for convenience

Yes, we are all adults, and a great part of any conference is sharing stories around the fire with a tipple of choice.

However drunkenness, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated… it’s just not that kind of gig.

NOTE:  There is not a bar on site, however there is a supermarket a short drive away should you wish by buy alcohol or food for the evening.

The site have agreed to let a very limited number of sleep in vehicles on the field.

please note that open fires are not allowed near the caravans (but the main fire circle is a short walk away)

we ask for a small  supplement for campers and Caravans.

Camper Vans are not permitted in the carpark if used for sleeping

Sadly we will not be offering the indoor bunk houses this year, however for those without camping equipment (or don’t want the bother of setting up when you get there) we have a number of tents to hire which will be set up and ready to go ( all money from tent hire is donated to the local scout group)

Yes there is a hard standing car park.

Parking is free, however please order a parking pass when booking you ticket.
